Taking place over the 21st & 22nd of October we will once again bring you 2 days of guests, exhibitors, workshops, screenings, talks, illustration, animation, printing, comics, prints, zines, apparel and much more!

Talks & Workshops
We’ll have a number of workshops and talks over the weekend. Here’s a few.
- Talks Saturday -
12.45pm - Dilraj Mann’s Dalston Monsterzz
Dilraj Mann will be here to introduce his new book, DALSTON MONSTERZZ, published by Nobrow, to us. It explores an alternate reality in which monsters take over East London, all in Dilraj’s unique style.
2pm - 10 Years of It’s Nice That with Will Hudson!
It’s Nice That is the highly influential and beloved creative platform championing new and exciting work. Join It’s Nice That co-founder Will Hudson as he talks about his journey from graduation to cultural institution!
3.30pm - Polyester Zine : A talk
Founder of feminist culture publication Polyester Ione Gamble will be discussing how she got starter, why illustration is an integral part of the zine and how she uses her publication to champion female and marginalised illustrators.

1pm - Breakdown Press : The Breakdown of Breakdown Press
Independent London based comic publisher Breakdown press discuss how they came about, the various challenges involved and the process that goes behind getting an idea onto the page and into the hands of the reading public.
2pm - David Shrigley in Conversation with Will Hudson (SOLD OUT)
David is a renowned British artist responsble for many of our very favourite things. His work is instantly recognisable around the world for its wry sense of humour and surrealist imagery. He'll be talking about his work and career, from books to the fourth plinth, with the excellent Will Hudson, co-founder of It's Nice That. David will also be answering questions and signing copies of his books after the talk. We are expecting a high volume of interest for this talk and capacity is limited so if you'd like to attend we suggest you book early. David shall be signing all things David Shrigley shortly after the talk.
4.30pm - Tuesday Bassen : My Life As An Illustrator
Rounding off our weekend of talks, join Tuesday as she talks to us about her work- from her unique illustrative style to girl gangs, a corporate run-in and running your own business.
Workshop are all ages! Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult.

ALL DAY - BIF PRINT SCHOOL - SCREENPRINTING : MAKE-READY PRINT
On Saturday the excellent folks from Make Ready will be running their workshop all day in the canteen. Come and pull your own screenprint and take home a piece of art home featuring work from a selection of this years BIF guests.
All day - Tom Eglington : Superheroes v supervillians.
A fun drawing workshop for all ages. Come and create your own hero of light or dark destroyer in the ultimate battle of good versus evil. Who will win? Only you can decide.
12-4PM - Collage Club
Interactive workshop where you can help create a large-scale art-piece exploring the wonderful medium of collage. Join in the fun.
2-4PM - Make Your Own Zine With Akvile Magicdust
On Saturday award winning comic maker Akvile Magicdust will be helping you to make your own zine. 2pm - 4pm in the Restaurant.

All day - BIF PRINT SCHOOL - Risograph : Dopple Press
Join Livvi to learn about the magical world of Risograph printing. She’ll be running the workshop all day in the canteen. Come and print your own masterpiece in Riso or make your own collaborative print with a selection of this years BIF guests.
12-2pm - Magic Characters from found objects with Akvile Magicdust.
Transform the random things into magical creatures! Participants are encouraged to think of qualities of random objects (things found on the street or at their home) and draw a character with based on these qualities.
2:30 - 4:30PM - Banner Making with Lucy Sherston and Pippa Toole
Pippa and Lucy will be making banners in the Restaurant between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday. Make your own pennant to take home!

Tickets are £4 each day or £6 for the full weekend. Please note that whilst all the other workshops and talks are free, David Shrigley’s talk on Sunday is ticketed separately! Event times will be 10AM - 6PM both days. All event tickets are available here
